Walsall boss Mat Sadler has praised his side for their fantastic performance as they defeated the in-form Bradford City on Saturday afternoon.
Falling behind to Andy Cook's controversially-awarded penalty, Joe Riley clearly fouling his man outside the area, Walsall were able to avoid another disappointing defeat, producing the performance of the season.
Goals from Liam Gordon, who levelled the scores three minutes after Cook's penalty, Aramide Oteh, and Freddie Draper saw the Saddlers secure a well-deserved awayday win.
Speaking to the assembled media, including George Bennett of the Express & Star, Mat said; "A good away performance.
"What it will hopefully do is give the lads evidence and that real belief of who they are, what they can do, and how they can hurt teams. Barring what I thought wasn't a penalty because it was outside the box.
"But other than that moment, I thought we were pretty much in control throughout the game.
"The way that we defended those key moments was superb and the way that we broke on them repeatedly. But it was a fantastic away performance and we thoroughly deserved that."
