Walsall Head Coach Mat Sadler has spoken to the local media and once again reiterated his desire to add to his defensive line ahead of this evening's Transfer Deadline.
Sadler, who has already added a plethora of players to his squad iver the course of a busy summer in WS1, admits that there is a chance he will not get another deal over the line, but remains positive about his already-completed deals.
With the likes of Rollin Menayese and Priestley Farquharson yet to feature in the first-team so far this season, there is still hope that the team will have enough cover at the back, though the gaffer is yet to give up his pursuit of a new signing.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Mat said; "We are working, if we don’t get that then it is what it is.
"But we are working towards it, I think there are some positives anyway with Rollin working his way back to fitness and Priestley being close as well.
"We are working but also under the acknowledgement that we have some good bodies in the building too."
