Walsall boss Mat Sadler admitted his team has to be better in the early stages of games as they suffered a disappointing defeat to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday afternoon.
As with recent meetings with Swindon Town and Salford City, the Saddlers fell behind to an early goal as Connor Lemonheigh-Evans put the ball beyond Owen Evans after just six-minutes of play.
Freddie Draper levelled the scores in the second-half but goals from Jack Currie and Ali Al-Hamadi saw the Dons secure all three points on an afternoon to forget at the Poundland Bescot Stadium.
Speaking to the assembled media, including the Express & Star, Mat said; "We need to focus on how we approach the start of the game with our mentality, our focus, and our willingness to make sure that whatever happens, we're not coming out early doors, and having to chase a game.
"Because we've had to do that in the last two games, and you could probably say the last three games with the Salford game thrown in."
