Walsall secured their second win in as many games as goals from Freddie Draper and Oisin McEntee saw them defeat Salford City 2-1 on a sweltering Saturday afternoon in Greater Manchester.
Falling behind to Matt Smith's first-half opener, Sadler made a double change at the break and saw his side hit two goals without reply to take all three points and move to just a couple of places outside the League Two Play-Offs.
Sadler, who has come under plenty of scrutiny so far this season, not least for his decision to play Oisin McEntee in midfield, insists there are no doubts that the former Newcastle United man can thrive in his new position, something which was evidenced by his strong showing at the Peninsula Stadium.
Speaking to the assembled media, including the Express & Star, Mat said; "For me, there should be no doubts about that having seen performances like this.
"I've seen every performance he has played this season. He's versatile and can go into the back line, which you saw him do for me in the last five or ten minutes when I went into a 5-4-1 to finish the game off.
"That really secured us at a time when I felt a little bit insecure at that point. Donervon Daniels had come off but he's one of the fittest out there, gives absolutely everything and where's his heart on his sleeve."
