Following the news that he'd made the move from Motherwell to Walsall, new loan signing Ross Tierney has spoken of his desire to make the most of his stay in WS1.
Staying for a season, 22-year-old Tierney has made over one hundred appearances over his still-young career and is hoping to bring both goals and assists to the side.
Speaking via the club's official website, Ross said; "I’m really happy to join Walsall.
"I’m still only 22, but I’ve played a lot of games at senior levels so once the gaffer said he wanted me, I was happy to come.
"I know Oisin and I spoke to Conor Wilkinson at Motherwell as well and everything they’ve both said about the club made me excited to come down.
"I’m an energetic, attacking midfielder and I like to link up with the strikers so hopefully I can pitch in with some assists and goals.
"I want to play games, kick on here at Walsall and have a good season."
