Walsall Head Coach Mat Sadler has spoken ahead of this evening's pre-season clash with Leamington and offered an update on a couple of his squad's walking wounded.
Defender Rollin Menayese and midfielder Jack Earing are both rehabbing following recent injuries, and Sadler is hoping to have them both back in contention by the autumn.
Rollin fractured his ankle during his loan spell at Hartlepool United in January, whilst Earing has been out with a serious knee injury since New Year’s Day, with both currently training at the club's Essington Training Ground.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Sadler said; "Rollin will hopefully be back sooner than Jack. He’s looking around about September or October time. Jack maybe November-time.
"Although I’m not counting on them towards the start the season, I feel they could have really big impacts as the season goes on."
