Former Walsall midfielder Liam Kinsella has signed for the Saddlers' League Two rivals Swindon Town, re-joining former Bescot-based gaffer, Michael Flynn.
"Swindon's always up there, it's a massive club and I'm just really excited to get going to be honest."
Colchester-born Kinsella joined Walsall Academy aged 8 and went on to make over 250 first-team appearances, firmly establishing himself as a fan favourite with his hard-working performances.
Liam, a former Republic of Ireland Under-17 and Under-19 international, made his Walsall debut against Bradford City in August 2014, picking up the Man of the Match award.
After well over a decade at the club he departed for pastures new at the end of the 2022/23 campaign, and has now completed a move to the County Ground.
Speaking to Town’s Media Team, he said; "I'm absolutely buzzing to get the deal done now, I've been training with the lads for the last couple of days and to get the deal sorted and done, I'm delighted to be here.
