Following the recent draw, we now know when the Saddlers' three EFL Trophy - Southern Group A fixtures will take place.Pitted against Forest Green Rovers, Shrewsbury Town, and Brighton & Hove Albion's Under-21s, Mat Sadler's side will be looking to improve upon last season's poor campaign which saw them exit at the first time of asking.
The Saddlers will begin the group phase on Tuesday, 22nd August as Mat Sadler's men welcome Brighton and Hove Albion Under 21s to Poundland Bescot Stadium for a 7.00pm kick-off.
Fellow League Two side Forest Green Rovers will visit WS1 for our second home group match on Tuesday, 10th October, also at 7.00pm.
The Saddlers' final group game will be away at League One outfit Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday, 14th November, with the clash kicking off at 7.00pm.
