Walsall have confirmed that club captain Donervon Daniels has put pen-to-paper on a new two-year contract at Poundland Bescot Stadium.
29-year-old Daniels has made sixty-four first-team appearances since joining the Saddlers from Crewe Alexandra in January 2022.

Donervon had been linked with a move away from WS1 over recent weeks, with former Walsall boss Michael Flynn believed to be keen to add him to his Swindon Town squad ahead of the new campaign.
However, after a few weeks of negotiations, the club and player have come to terms on a new deal, much to the delight of Head Coach Mat Sadler.
Speaking via the club's official website Sadler sought to welcome the news of Donervon's new contract, he said; "I’m delighted that Donervon has extended his contract with us.
"From the very first moment that I took over the games at the back end of last season and certainly from the moment I was appointed in the role, it’s been the top priority for me to get Donervon secured so I’m pleased we’ve got it done.
"On a matchday we see what a fantastic football player he is but what I see day in, day out is a person who cares about his teammates and a person who cares about the football club. If you could bottle up what makes captain material, he’s everything and more.
"He’s an amazing person, an amazing character and he’s everything I want from the environment and to have him secured and settled down for the next couple of years is a fantastic thing for me and a fantastic thing for the football club."
