Former Walsall defender Hayden White has secured his future ahead of the new season after penning a deal with Vanarama National League side Ebbsfleet United.
28-year-old White, who will officially join the Fleet when his Walsall deal expires at the end of the month, made 121 first-team appearances after joining the Saddlers from Mansfield Town in September 2020.

Speaking via his new club's official website, Hayden discussed what he thinks he will bring to the club, he said; "I’m versatile. I’m known as a right-back and I like playing on the right side of a three but speaking to the manager, he likes that versatility and so I’m happy to play wherever he needs me.
"I like to get forward too and create some opportunities for the strikers and hopefully chip in with a few myself!"
Greenwich-born White is a product of the Sheffield Wednesday youth system but began his professional career with Bolton Wanderers, making a total of five appearances over three seasons.
His time at Bolton wasn't all development football however as Hayden enjoyed loan spells with Carlisle United, Bury, Notts County, and Blackpool before leaving the North West on a permanent basis in 2016.
After penning a two-year deal with Peterborough United, Hayden eventually went back out on loan as he joined Mansfield Town in January 2017, a move which would become permanent later that summer.
Making a total of seventy-five first-team appearances, Hayden was released by the Stags at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
