Following the news that he'd become the Saddlers' third signing of the summer, Newport County defender Priestley Farquharson has spoken of his desire to help the club achieve its goals.
"He’s a good man as well which is a big thing for me and from the conversations we’ve had, I know what he’s going to do – he’s going to push this club where it needs to be.
"All I want to do is succeed and this club aligns with my goals."
Priestley, who has penned a two-year deal at Poundland Bescot Stadium, will officially make the move when his exiles contract expires at the end of the month and is hoping to bring his winning mentality to the fore.
Speaking via the club's official website, he said; "The move here felt right. Every time I have played here, it’s been a tough place to come, and that toughness, winning mentality is built in me and I know I can bring that here.
"Mat Sadler and I had a few conversations and everything he said aligned with my goals and aspirations.
