According to recent reports, Walsall captain Donervon Daniels is attracting attention from several sides in both Sky Bet League One and League Two.
Daniels formed part of a defence that, despite finishing sixteenth in the table, secured some fifteen clean sheets over the course of the campaign.
The 29-year-old, who is out of contract in June 2024, has made seventy-seven Walsall appearances since joining the side from Crewe Alexandra in 2022 and is seen as a cornerstone of Mat Sadler's backline.
As reported by 'Football Insider', Walsall are hoping to cut off any potential approach by agreeing on fresh terms with the Montserrat international with club officials believed to have already opened talks with his representatives.
Meanwhile, the club is continuing to keep its cards close to its chest as fans are still waiting for news of new signings ahead of the 2023/24 Sky Bet League Two campaign.
