Work to replace the pitch at Poundland Bescot Stadium is well underway as Head Groundsman Paul Mason and his team begin their summer of toil on the turf.
In pictures, released via the club' official social media channels, we can see that the pitch which saw the Saddlers struggle for form over much of the 2022/23 campaign has already been ripped up with seeding set to take place soon.
With the 2023/24 season set to get underway in early August, there is plenty of time for Mason and his crew to get the playing surface ready for a hopefully better new campaign.
