Following the news that he was to leave the club at the end of his current contract, Walsall defender Manny Monthé has taken to Twitter to thank the club and its fans for their support during his time in WS1.
Manny, who made some ninety-three first-team appearances during a two-season spell, joined the club from Tranmere Rovers in July 2021 and went on to form a crucial part of the backline.
Issued via his Twitter feed, Manny said; "Thank you to everyone at Walsall FC, all the fans, the board, the managers I've worked under, and my teammates, it's been a pleasure to play the club and in front of you saddlers.
"However, my time at the club has come to an end. We've had a lot of ups and downs over the last 2 seasons and some football memories that will last forever.
I've loved and embraced my time here. I wish you all the best and success for next season and the future."
