Walsall's on-loan Stoke City forward Douglas James-Taylor will become a free agent in the summer after his parent club confirmed he will not be offered new terms at the Bet365 Stadium.
21-year-old James-Taylor joined the Saddlers on a season-long loan from the Championship outfit in July 2022 and went on to make thirty first-team appearances, scoring twice.
Prior to his spell in WS1, Douglas began his career at Salford City where his impressive performances in their Under 18s caught the eye of the Potters, who he signed for in the summer of 2020.

The powerful striker also gained experience of men’s football last campaign. His first loan spell came at Wealdstone in the National League before a stint with AFC Fylde in National League North where he scored twice in nine outings.
