Walsall could be set to receive yet another reprieve in the Walsall Senior Cup as Chasetown, who defeated the Saddlers by a goal to nil in the Semi-Final, appear to have been expelled from the competition.If the news is confirmed it will be the second time the Saddlers have been reinstated in the competition this season as recent opponents Tividale were removed after fielding an ineligible player during their Quarter Final victory over a Walsall XI.
Should the Saddlers return to the cup, they'll be taking on Rushall Olympic in the final with the Pics, who have already collected the Staffordshire Senior Cup this season, hoping to do the regional double.
Neither the Staffordshire FA nor Walsall FC have commented on this ongoing situation.
