Walsall went in search of just their third win of 2023 as they welcomed Sutton United to Poundland Bescot Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The first goal of the game went the way of the visitors as Alistair Smith bundled the ball over the line with fourteen minutes of the first-half remaining.
The match looked to be heading for another disappointing defeat for the Saddlers, however, in the dying embers of second-half stoppage time, Isaac Hutchinson got on the end of a Knowles free-kick to level the scores.
