Walsall welcomed Carlisle United to Poundland Bescot Stadium on Easter Monday as they looked to earn just their third league win of 2023.
Arriving at the match on the back of a 4-2 defeat to bottom-of-the-table Rochdale, Michael Flynn's side were in desperate need of a positive result as they hope to avoid dropping closer to the battle to beat the drop.
There were no goals in the game, though both sides created promising openings, as the ten men of Walsall, who saw Hayden White dismissed in the second-half, took a point from title-chasing opposition.
