Walsall were back in action on Saturday afternoon as they welcomed Gillingham to Poundland Bescot Stadium.
Looking to end a twelve-game winless spell, the Saddlers started the game brightly and looked like a much more threatening unit when going forward.
The first-half ended goalless but the Saddlers continued their promising performance in the second half and were soon rewarded as Isaac Hutchinson netted his sixth goal of the season with a deflected effort.
Walsall weren't done there either as second-half substitute Conor Wilkinson went on to grab a goal late into second-half stoppage time, his first of the season, to give the scoreline a more comfortable look.
