Walsall were back in action on Tuesday evening as they welcomed Bradford City to Poundland Bescot Stadium where the Saddlers were searching for just their second win of 2023.
With last weekend's narrow defeat to Barrow to serve as fuel, Michael Flynn's men were tasked with taking down a buoyant City side that had lost just once in its last nine league outings.
Though they were ultimately able to avoid defeat, the Saddlers couldn't quite return to winning ways as they and their visitors played out a goalless draw.
