Walsall were looking to make it two wins in as many games as they made the trip to Blundell Park to take on Grimsby Town in their latest League Two outing of the season.
The home side started the game on top and were eventually rewarded for their dominance as former Walsall loanee Bryn Morris opened the scoring with eighteen minutes on the clock, his curling effort evading Owen Evans in the visiting net.
Walsall got themselves back on level terms five-minutes into the second-half as captain Donervon Daniels netted his second goal of the season as he crashed the ball off the underside of the bar and into the back of the net.
