Walsall boss Michael Flynn has admitted Saturday's meeting between Stevenage and Walsall was a clash between men and boys as his side slipped to yet another defeat.
Heading into the match in search of a much-needed win, the Saddlers were two goals down within the opening fourteen minutes before Manny Monthé briefly halved the deficit ahead of the home side's third.
The home side saw Josh March net a brace either side of Luke Norris' tap in to earn a welcome win for Steve Evan's side, who had themselves gone into the game on the back of a weak spell of form.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Michael said; "We were outmuscled early on and I partly blame myself for that because I didn't set us up right to deal with it.
"It was like men against boys and when it went to 3-1 it was always going to be difficult for us to come back away from home.
"I'm not afraid to make changes and it was better the second half where we had a good go but the damage had been done.
"We owe the fans two big performances in the next two home games and some of those players will be playing for their future and their contracts so we'll see if that makes a difference."
