Former Bristol Rovers midfielder Zain Westbrooke is currently training with Walsall as Head Coach Michael Flynn considers adding to his squad.
26-year-old Westbrooke, who is a free agent after leaving Bristol Rovers ahead of the recent Transfer Deadline, took part in a behind-closed-doors match between the Saddlers' first-team and academy on Tuesday afternoon.
Chertsey-born Zain, a product of both the Chelsea and Brentford youth systems, also notes the likes of Coventry City, Solihull Moors, Leyton Orient, and Stevenage among his former clubs - the latter three coming in the form of loan spells.
With the Saddlers set to face several double-game weeks over the next few months, the manager is said to be keen to boost numbers and avoid overworking his squad as he looks to get their promoting push back on track.
