Walsall were back in action on Saturday afternoon as they welcomed Michael Flynn's former side Newport County to Poundland Bescot Stadium.
The Saddlers grabbed the opening goal of the game with thirteen minutes of the first-half remaining as Isaac Hutchinson netted his fourth of the season after the ball fell nicely at his feet.
Unfortunately for the Saddlers, their run of winless games continued as former Walsall defender Cameron Norman netted an equaliser with twelve minutes of normal time remaining, the ex-Norwich City man getting on the end of a corner.
