Walsall midfielder Ronan Maher has been named among a 25-man training squad selected by Republic of Ireland Under-19 Head Coach Tom Mohan as he prepares for next month’s UEFA European U19 Championship qualifiers.
The group will train at Loughborough University over the next three days as Mohan assesses his options ahead of the three qualifiers. The games will take place in Ireland in March.
Ireland face Slovakia, Estonia, and Greece in the Elite Round as they look to qualify for the European Championships being held in Malta.
