Walsall boss Michael Flynn has spoken to the local press and discussed his plans for the upcoming January Transfer Window with the gaffer confirming he's expecting to see departures as well as arrivals.
Flynn, who has guided his team into the top half of the Sky Bet League Two table with a string of wins and draws, believes the Saddlers are well placed to challenge over the second half of the 22/23 campaign.
Speaking via the Express & Star, the Newport-born boss admitted that he's likely to see a few players leave in order to balance the books and free up funds for new arrivals.
Flynn said; "There might be one or two going out the door to bring in players who can strengthen the squad and the team. I am looking to strengthen.
"I have to work around the budget. It is a competitive budget but we still have to work in the restraints.
"A lot of it has been used up through injured players this season, which is frustrating. I am still missing Joe and Joss who are reasonable earners. But where there is a will, there is a way."
