Walsall boss Michael Flynn spoke to the local press and praised his side for their late display as they grabbed the match-winning goal in second-half stoppage time to continue their fine spell of form.
Despite falling behind to Ellis Iandolo's first-half goal, Walsall levelled the scores via Romeao Hutton's unfortunate own goal before Manny Monthé netted his first goal in a Saddlers shirt to take all three points.
The result, which moves the Saddlers up to 8th in the League Two table, sees Flynn's side make it nine games unbeaten and means they remain among the firm sides heading into a busy few weeks of action.
Speaking to Express & Star reporter Paul Jenkins, Flynn admitted he doesn't mind when the goals come, as long as they do, he said; "As a manager, I don't care when the goals go in as long as we get the three points but to be fair to the lads they have shown a lot of resilience, work ethic and a great attitude on around three occasions now to turn a deficit into a draw and then a win.
"It was a deserved result, we had the best chances in the game, we looked dangerous going forward and did well to come from behind which is always tough."
The gaffer also went on to praise his ever-improving backline as they have not only helped thwart opposing attackers but also chip in with goals at the other end of the pitch.
Flynn continued; "They have been outstanding in defence but the likes of Donervon, Hayden, and even Manny have come up with goals to help us out which is something I have always encouraged them to do - get forward when they can.
"It's been a great start today to a very busy period for us - we hadn't played for a while so it took us a while to get into the groove and some passes went astray, things like that but I think we made up for that pretty quickly."
