Walsall were back in action on Boxing Day as they made the trip to the County Ground and took on Swindon Town, with the Saddlers looking to continue their fine spell of form after a two-week game-less spell.
The match was a scrappy affair that saw the two sides struggle to create much in the way of goal-scoring opportunities for the opening third of the contest.
The first goal didn't arrive until the 33rd minute as Ellis Iandolo slammed the ball past Owen Evans at the second time of asking after his initial shot on goal was blocked.
Walsall went on to level the scores just before the half-time break as Romeao Hutton put the ball into the back of his own net.
The Saddlers weren't done there either, as defender Manny Monthé struck deep into second-half stoppage time and gave his side the three points they were coveting on a welcome awayday win for the reds!
