Shay Willock was the only loaned-out Saddler in action on Tuesday evening as his Worcester Raiders side played host to league leaders Malvern Town at Sixways Stadium.

Named among the substitutes, Shay had to wait until the 59th minute to get a taste of the action as he replaced Sam Carey, as the Raiders went in search of a leveller as they trailed 2-1 in an action-packed contest.

Raiders took the lead on the thirteenth minute as a ball was played into Isaac Cooper who found himself in loads of space allowing him to get a shot away which struck the inside of the post falling to the feet of Brogan Halpin to tuck the ball into an empty net.

Malvern had to wait until a minute before half-time to get themselves back on level terms as Carrick Hill smashed the ball home following a scramble in the area, the visitors more than deserving to be back on level terms as they had dominated proceedings after falling behind.

Worcester's opponents were soon a goal ahead as Lewis Spurrier unleashed a thunderbolt to get his side ahead, the Raiders' defence simply unable to close him down before he crashed the ball home from distance.

Not to be outdone, Worcester's leveller was also a thing of beauty as Isaac Cooper found the back of the net with a well-placed free-kick seventeen minutes from time, though that wouldn't be the end of the drama on a hectic afternoon in Worcestershire.

Malvern were the side to have the final say as second-half substitute Joe Bates put his side ahead after Dave Reynolds was brought down inside the area, a disappointing ending to a competitive clash, something not helped by Jordan Murphy's late red card!
