The Saddlers and Chairboys faced-off in the First Round (proper) of this season's FA Cup with both sides looking to disappoint their opponents on the way to a place in the Second Round.
The first-half saw the Saddlers create a plethora of openings with the home goalkeeper forced into a handful of saves before Walsall were eventually able to take the lead as Jacob Maddox crashed the ball home from a Liam Gordon corner with around four-minutes of the first forty-five remaining.
Walsall's strong showing didn't end there as, after 'keeper Owen Evans had saved from a Brandon Hanlan penalty, the Saddlers went on to net the second goal of the game via former Derby County man, Isaac Hutchinson.
