Walsall and Carlisle United faced off for the second time in just a few short weeks as they battled it out for a place in the Third Round of the world's oldest domestic cup competition on Saturday afternoon.
With both sides enjoying improving form the match had all the makings of a tight affair, and it proved to be just that as the first goal of the game arrived just before the thirty-minute mark as Ryan Edmondson hit the back of the net from inside the area.
Walsall left it late to get themselves back on level terms as second-half substitute Andy Williams netted his second goal of the season with just two minutes of normal time remaining.
The Saddlers weren't done there as they went on to book their place in the Third Round as Douglas James-Taylor came off the bench to put his team ahead in stoppage time!
