Timmy Abraham started as Oldham made the trip to the Racecourse and took on fellow National League side Wrexham in a televised Emirates FA Cup - First Round clash on Sunday afternoon.
Timmy, who has struggled for consistent game time during his short time in WS1, was among Oldham's more involved players on the afternoon, with the former Fulham man seeing a handful of efforts either miss the target or be saved during a first-half that saw Sam Dalby and Paul Mullin hit the back of the net for the hosts.
Abraham continued to be involved in many of the Latics' attacking moves during the second forty-five, with a 55th-minute header being comfortably saved by the Wrexham 'keeper.
Paul Mullin grabbed his second and Wrexham's third in the second half as Oldham exited the FA Cup, back to the drawing board for David Unsworth and his side.
Timmy didn't complete the full ninety-minutes as he was replaced by on-loan Bolton Wanderers man Conor Carty with twenty-minutes of the second half remaining.
