Walsall have been handed a welcome fitness boost as striker Conor Wilkinson has begun to train with the rest of his teammates as he continues to work his way toward full fitness.
Conor, who is yet to make a first-team appearance in the 2022/23 campaign, was pictured at the club's Essington Training Ground on Wednesday afternoon.
27-year-old Wilkinson has been out of action since picking up a knee injury against Rochdale last April, the former Leyton Orient man undergoing surgery shortly after.
Though a return to first-team action is likely to be a month or so away, his return to training can only serve as a boost to his teammates and supporters alike.
