Walsall boss Michael Flynn has spoken ahead of Saturday's meeting with Mansfield Town and confirmed he has suffered yet another injury blow, with the former Newport County man not yet willing to confirm which player has joined the already packed injury list.
"There is no pattern to the injuries, they are all freak injuries or illnesses. It is one of them, we have to get on with it and hopefully, it will change in the coming weeks and months, and we can put out our strongest team.
After seeing his side struggle for form over the last few months, Flynn has been able to guide his team to two wins in as many games and is hoping to add a third against the in-form Stags on Saturday.
However, with the likes of Joe Riley, Oisin McEntee, Joss Labadie, Jack Earing and Conor Wilkinson already on the sidelines, the gaffer can ill afford another injury, especially if his desire to maintain the Reds' winning run will be achieved.
Along with the injury blow, which was already growing thanks to an as-yet-unnamed player who has been putting off surgery in a bid to bolster the ranks, Flynn will also be without top scorer Danny Johnson, who can't feature against his parent club.
Speaking to the media ahead of the match, Flynn said; "It is a little bit worse for tomorrow. It is nothing I can elaborate on, but it is not good news at the minute.
"Danny Johnson is missing tomorrow and we are waiting on one, so it will possibly be somebody else for tomorrow.

"We have had a big injury list to contend with, I would say bigger than anyone else in the league, especially key players."
