Here we take our latest look at how Walsall's loan stars are getting on.
Bescot Banter - Walsall FC News
Walsall defenders Joe Foulkes and Rollin Menayese and midfielders Sam Perry and Brendan Kiernan and young striker Shay Willock are currently away on loan as they look to force their way into Michael Flynn's first-team plans.

Foulkes was enjoying a second spell with National League North with Kidderminster Harriers before suffering an ankle injury, whilst Menayese and Kiernan remain in League Two with season-long stays at Hartlepool United and Grimsby Town respectively.

Sam Perry is with National League outfit Yeovil Town, whilst Willock is on work experience with Hellenic League Premier Division side Worcester Raiders.

Brendan Kiernan was a second-half substitute as Grimsby made it three games without a win as they and Salford City played out a one-all draw at the Peninsula Stadium.

Salford took a second-minute lead via former Walsall defender Theo Vassell before Lewis Richardson levelled the scores later in the half, the prospect grabbing his first professional goal.

Brendan would take the place of Richardson in the 71st-minute but was unable to make an impact upon the scoreline as the spoils were shared.

Shay Willock made his Worcester Raiders debut on Saturday as they made the trip to Allpay Park and took on Westfields FC in a match which saw its location reversed as the Raiders are unable to play at their home ground.

Shay didn't get in the score-sheet but gained plenty of match-minutes as the match ended in a two-all draw, with both of Worcester's goal arriving via former Saddler, Jordan Murphy.

Meanwhile, Rollin Menayese retained his place in the starting XI as Hartlepool took on Mansfield Town on a chilly Friday evening under the lights.

Rollin, who has now made p appearances for the Pools, was unable to help his side secure a clean sheet as goals from George Lapslie and Riley Harbottle saw Mansfield take a two-goal lead.

However, the goalscoring didn't end there as substitute Josh Umerah netted twice in the second-half, including one in the final minute of normal time, to secure a point for the visitors.
