In news which might come as a surprise to many, Walsall boss Michael Flynn has been named as one of the outsiders for the now vacant manager's position at Championship side Cardiff City.
Born and bred in Newport, Flynn has seen his Walsall side struggle for form over recent weeks as their season-opening thrashing of Hartlepool United proved to be no more than a flash in the pan as they've won just once in their last eight in the league.
Cardiff, who recently axed Steve Morison following a poor start to the season, are also being linked with the likes of Mark Hudson (5/2), Jody Morris (5/1), Nathan Jones (6/1), Sol Bamba (7/1), and Veljko Paunović (7/1).
