The Club has confirmed that on-loan Norwich City midfielder Flynn Clarke has today returned to his parent club.
Flynn, who joined the club on a season-long loan earlier in the summer, made just three first-team appearances, all of which came in cup competitions.
Peterborough-born Clarke began his career at hometown club Peterborough United, joining their academy at the age of nine.
After being named on the bench on a couple of occasions in the 2019/20 season, he eventually made his professional debut in September 2020 at the age of 17 in a Carabao Cup tie against Cheltenham Town.
Clarke was prolific for Posh in the group stages of the Papa John’s Trophy that season, scoring in all three group games.
He played eleven times overall in the 2020/21 campaign before he joined Norwich City in the summer of 2021 for an undisclosed fee.
Clarke scored nine goals and got three assists in a successful 2021/22 campaign in Premier League 2 Division 2 with the Canaries.
We would like to join the club in thanking Flynn for his efforts and we wish him all the best for the future.
