Walsall Head Coach Michael Flynn has spoken to the local press and confirmed he is hoping to make a seventeenth and final signing ahead of the upcoming Transfer Deadline Day.
Flynn, who has been able to guide his side through two games unbeaten since the new season got underway, feels his squad is still a little light and is looking at potential options.
Backed by the Trivela Group, Newport-born Flynn has spent the summer almost completely rebuilding his squad with only a handful of last season's players remaining in WS1.
The gaffer most recently secured the services of now-former Yeovil Town forward Tom Knowles, but remains keen to further strengthen his side, with hopes of continuing their strong start to the season.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Flynn said; "I am hopeful of bringing in one more. If I am honest, we are a bit light so we have got to try and do that."
