Former Fulham and Newport County forward Timmy Abraham is among a group of players currently on trial in WS1.
Abraham, the younger brother of England and Roma star Tammy, was among the group of players who took on Birmingham City in a behind closed doors friendly on Tuesday afternoon.
21-year-old Timmy, a free agent after leaving newly-promoted Premier League side Fulham earlier this summer, spent the whole of last season on loan at Rodney Parade after joining the club under Michael Flynn, ahead of the Walsall manager's departure in October.
Abraham scored three goals in seventeen first-team appearances all competitions for the Exiles, with most of his game time coming off the substitutes bench.
Abraham has also enjoyed loan spells with the likes of Raith Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, and Bristol Rovers, and will be hoping to be able to add the Saddlers to his list of clubs as he lines up against Aston Villa at the weekend.
