Walsall Head Coach Michael Flynn spoke to the local press shortly after his side's pre-season defeat to Aston Villa and confirmed the identity of some of the players he currently has on trial.
Flynn named five trialists in his matchday squad to take on Steven Gerrard's side, with the already confirmed Timmy Abraham being joined by former Bradford City centre-half Ben Richards-Everton, ex-Newport County man Aneurin Livermore, as well as released Wrexham full-back Cameron Green and Sutton United forward Jonas Mukuna.
Speaking shortly after goals from Leon Bailey, Cameron Archer, Ollie Watkins and Douglas Luiz secured the win for the visiting Villans, Flynn offered praise for the trialists before admitting only time will tell as to whether they earn a deal in WS1.
"I know what exactly what he can do," Flynn said when speaking about midfielder Livermore to Express & Star man Joe Edwards after the game.
""He's an outstanding footballer. He's had a very tough week as we've been working on his conditioning.
"He's had a lot of work into his legs this week, so I'm not going to make a decision based on half an hour against Villa.
"Aneurin I know well, Ben Richards-Everton I know well, and Timmy as well. It is what it is. They'll have to keep working hard, and we'll see what happens."
