Walsall boss Michael Flynn has spoken to the local press and praised recent arrival Danny Johnson, as the on-loan Mansfield Town man was able to score just hours after joining the club.
Flynn, who was speaking shortly after Saturday's 2-0 pre-season victory over Solihull Moors, was pleased to see Johnson get on the scoresheet, especially as the forward hadn't even trained with his new teammates.

Johnson gave his new side the lead during the first-half of the clash at the Moors' ARMCO Arena, with fellow summer signing Andy Williams netting his third of pre-season during the second forty-five.
Speaking via the Express & Star, Michael said; "He hasn't had much of a pre-season.
"I was only going to give him 45 minutes, but I thought I'd push just to get the hour out of him and get him up to speed a bit more.
"He hasn't trained with the boys. He came last night. I met him at a hotel. So, it's pleasing to see Danny's performance. He adds that extra bit of experience and guile in the box."
