Following the news that he'd become the twelfth new arrival during a summer of change at Poundland Bescot Stadium, on-loan Stoke City forward Douglas James-Taylor has welcomed the chance to test himself in League Two.
20-year-old James-Taylor, who spent part of last season with National League North side AFC Fylde, is keen to show what he is capable of at a higher level, with the former Salford City prospect hoping to contribute both goals and assists.
Speaking via the club's official website, Douglas said; "As someone who wants to try and achieve things in football, a league loan is a huge thing for me and hopefully I will be successful.
"It’s another step up so I have now got to push myself even harder and see what I can do with the Club.
"I would say that I am powerful, I am fast and I am strong. I like to think that I am good at finishing and scoring goals as well."
