Former Walsall goalkeeper Jack Rose has signed for the Saddlers' League Two rivals Sutton United just weeks after being released by the club.
The Solihull-born 'keeper struggled for games in 2021/22 as on-loan Brighton & Hove Albion man Carl Rushworth made the number 1 spot his own with a series of superb showings, meaning Jack had to settle for a place on the bench,
27-year-old Jack began his career with West Bromwich Albion and had loan spells with Accrington Stanley and Crawley Town before joining Southampton on an initial one-year deal in 2017.
Jack joined the Saddlers on loan in July 2019 before making the move a permanent one in September 2020, and though he struggled for consistent games, was always seen as a solid option should he be called upon.
Best of luck, Jack!
