Saddlers boss Michael Flynn has spoken ahead of his side's season-opener against Hartlepool United, and offered an update on some of the walking wounded.
Flynn takes his side into their opening day clash without the likes of long-term absentees Joss Labadie and Conor Wilkinson as well as Liam Gordon, Oisin McEntee, Jack Earing and Joe Riley.
However, the gaffer has been handed some welcome news as both Earing and Riley are expected to be back in action sooner rather than later, with Earing even being in contention for the clash against the Pools.
Speaking via the club's official website, Flynn said; "Jack’s fine, he’s come through everything so he’s fit for selection. It gives us another body back so it’s positive.
"It’s only Conor, Oisin and Joss who are not going to be ready yet. Joe Riley’s had good news so Joe might be fine but we’ll wait and see on a decision tomorrow."
