Walsall Head Coach Michael Flynn has spoken to the local press and confirmed he is hoping to add more players to his squad, despite being well into double figures for the summer as a whole.
Chatting to Joe Edwards of the Express & Star shortly after newest arrival Danny Johnson had scored a debut goal in a pre-season triumph over Solihull Moors, Flynn insisted he needs to add more depth to his squad.

With injuries continuing to take a toll on overall numbers, the former Newport County man is hoping to confirm another signing or two before next weekend's season-opening clash with Hartlepool United.
Speaking to the assembled media shortly after full-time, Flynn said; "I'm hoping to make some more signings this week, one-hundred-per-cent.
"Because of the injuries and how we are, you take the trialist out today and we're down to sixteen. That's not enough.
"The owners have been brilliant. It's an important part. We want to get this right and head into the season with just enough depth to get us through until a few of the injuries come back."
