Republic of Ireland Under-21s manager Jim Crawford has confirmed that Walsall defender Oisin McEntee suffered a dislocated shoulder during his side's 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina U21s on Friday afternoon.
Oisin, who was replaced by Crystal Palace defender Jake O'Brien during the second-half of the contest, is likely to miss the whole of the Saddlers' pre-season campaign, with the former Newcastle United man battling to be fit for the start of the season.
McEntee is one of Walsall's three confirmed summer signings - alongside fellow defenders Liam Gordon and Peter Clarke - as Head Coach Michael Flynn continues to rebuild his team ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
