Following the news that he'd become the Saddlers' eleventh signing of the summer, midfielder Isaac Hutchinson has spoken to club journalists and welcomed the opportunity to move to WS1.
Isaac, who is due to come to the end of a two-year contract at Derby County, has penned a one-year deal at Poundland Bescot Stadium, with the terms including an option for a further twelve months.
The 22-year-old, who spent some of last season on-loan with the Saddlers' League Two rivals Crawley Town, is hoping to be able to contribute to a successful season in the Black Country.
Speaking via the club's official website, Isaac said; "I am buzzing to get it over the line. I spoke to the manager a couple of weeks ago and I loved everything that he had to say, it was a positive chat.
"I am an attacking midfielder but I can play in any of the midfield roles and try and put my own spin on it. I can play out wide as well if needed and I think what fans will see is me trying to attack and try and get them off their seat.
"I’ll also do what I can defensively to try and help the team. To get it over the line and to be a Walsall player, I am happy with it."
