The Club has confirmed the signing of Forest Green Rovers midfielder Taylor Allen, who has penned an initial one-year contract at Poundland Bescot Stadium.
The 21-year-old left-footed midfielder can also play wing-back and will officially join the Saddlers when his Rovers contract expires at the end of the month.

Born in Walsall, Taylor began his career at Romulus before joining Nuneaton Borough in January 2019.
Whilst at Nuneaton, he also had a trial with Premier League club Leicester City. His impressive displays at Liberty Way caught the eye of Forest Green who snapped him up in April 2019 ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.
He scored the winner on his debut for Rovers in a 1-0 win over Oldham Athletic in August 2019. During his time at Forest Green, he played as a forward before making the switch to a midfield role.
He also enjoyed loan spells at National League North sides Hereford, Gloucester City and Leamington.
Michael Flynn feels Allen has a lot of good qualities and will bring a lot to the team, speaking via the club's official website, Flynn said; "He’s young, hungry, six-foot-one, left-footed and he can play in midfield or wing-back.
"He’s local and fits all the attributes that we’re looking for, he’s very good on the ball technically. Taylor’s coming in with the right attitude and wants to progress his career with us."
