Following the news that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season, Walsall defender Tom Leak has taken to Twitter to thank the club and its fans for their support during his time in WS1.
Defender Leak, who joined the Saddlers from Wyrley Juniors' Under-14s Jaguars in late March 2015, signed professional terms after completing a successful two-year scholarship in 2019 before penning a new deal in 2020.
Enjoying loan spells with the likes of Salisbury and Bath City, Leak went on to make a total of fifteen first-team appearances for the Saddlers, including his debut, which took place on Monday, 23rd March 2020, as Walsall and Southend United played out a goalless draw.
Speaking via his official Twitter account, Tom said; "7 years full of ups and downs but loved every minute of it, thank you to everyone who’s played their part in my journey, thank you to the fans for their continued support and I hope to see the club get back to where it belongs [Heart emoji] [at Walsall FC]. Excited for my next chapter."
