Walsall's on-loan Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper Carl Rushworth has taken to Twitter to thank the club and its fans for their support during his time in WS1.
Rushworth, who joined the club on a season-long loan last summer, went on to make forty-six first-team appearances, entering some superb displays along the way.
With the Saddlers' season now over, the Reds ending their campaign with a dismal defeat to Play-Off-bound Swindon Town, Carl has wished the club well as he gets set to return to his parent club.
Speaking via his official Twitter account, Carl said; "I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Walsall FC for this season.
"It’s been a season filled with ups and downs but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Buzzing to come away with players and young player of the season too."
We would like to thank Carl for all his efforts for the club, and wish him all the best for the future. We're sure he is going to enjoy a long and successful career.
